Raporo y’Ishami ry’Umuryango w’Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima (OMS) igaragaza ko abantu barenga Miliyoni 41 bapfa buri mwaka bazize indwara zitandura, izi ndwara ahanini zikaba zikomoka ku kugira umubyibuho ukabije no kudakora siporo.
Mu Rwanda ho ubushakashatsi bwagaragaje ko 40% by’Abanyarwanda batajya bakora siporo , hakaba n’abandi bamara amasaha menshi bicaye mu kazi, ibintu bituma bashobora kugira izo ndwara zitandura, ndetse no kutarya imboga.
Minisitiri w’Ubuzima, Dr Sabin Nsanzimana, aherutse kugaragaza mu Nama y’Umushyikirano ko abantu bakwiye kujya bakora siporo nibura iminota 30 cyangwa isaha buri munsi kugira ngo birinde izo ndwara.
Yagize ati “Buriya ibiro byinshi n’umubyibuho hari abibeshyaga kera ko ari ikimenyetso cy’ubukire, ariko ubu gisigaye ari ikimenyetso cy’ifumbire y’indwara zitandura. Twagerageza kubigabanya dukora siporo, imyitozo ngororamubiri nibura iminota 30 ku munsi. Uramutse ugeza ku isaha, byaba ari byiza.”
Ibi Dr Sabin Nsanzimana avuga byemezwa n’izindi mpuguke mu bijyanye n’ubuzima, ariko zo zikabona ko aho Isi igenda igana, kubona iminota 30 cyangwa isaha kugira ngo ukore siporo buri munsi bisa n’ibigoranye kuri bamwe.
Bagira inama abantu ndetse n’ibigo bakoreramo kuborohereza bakajya babona aho bakorera siporo cyangwa se bakagura imashini zabugenewe zigendanwa zishobora kubafasha gukora siporo baba bari mu kazi cyangwa se ahandi hose, kuko izo mashini bashobora kujya bazigendana.
Dr. Rukundo Arthur, impuguke mu buzima bwo mu mutwe, aganira na RBA dukesha iyi nkuru, yavuze ko siporo ari nziza mu buzima, ndetse urugaga rw’abaganga ku Isi hose rukaba rusaba ko abantu bagomba gukora siporo buri munsi hagati y’iminota 40 n’isaha.
Yagize ati “Biragorana rimwe na rimwe gukora siporo buri munsi ariko ubu twarabyoroheje kuko twazanye ibikoresho bifasha abantu gukorera siporo mu rugo. Hari nk’ibikoresho byiza cyane umuntu ashobora guhagararaho agakora siporo. Ni imashini ituma amaraso atembera neza mu mubiri, ndetse abantu bafite ibinure byinshi bidakenewe mu mubiri bikagenda bigabanuka. Ni imashini itaremereye, ushobora gutunga iwawe mu rugo, ushobora kuyishyira mu modoka ukayijyana mu kazi, nyuma y’akazi ukikorera siporo wenyine, massage mu rugo.”
Abahanga bagaragaza ko ariko gukora siporo byonyine bidahagije, ahubwo bakwiye no gutekereza ku mirire yabo ndetse n’inyongeramirire. Ni byo Dr. Rukundo Arthur asobanura ati “Ibibazo by’ubuzima byaragaragaye. Nk’uko mubizi, indwara zitandura (non-communicable diseases), imibare irimo kugenda yiyongera. Abantu benshi barimo kugenda barwara Diyabete, umuvuduko w’amaraso ukabije (hypertension) ndetse na kanseri. Izo ni indwara zishobora kwirindwa binyuze muri siporo no mu mirire iboneye.”
Ku Isi abasaga miliyoni 41 ni bo bicwa n’indwara zitandura, muri bo 3/4 ni abo mu bihugu biri mu nzira y’amajyambere ari na byo u Rwanda rubarizwamo.
Indwara ziza imbere mu guhitana abantu harimo umutima, kanseri, indwara z’ubuhumekero, ndetse na Diyabete.
